John Dame, Leadership Coach and Business Strategist, Hosts the 2021 Evolution Conference Focused on Developing Better Leaders
Harrisburg, PA (September 1, 2021) – John Dame, founder of Dame Leadership, Vistage Chair, and author announces the 2021 Evolution Conference featuring a full day of leadership development focusing on purpose and culture. The theme for this year’s conference is Making Money, Doing Good.
The event will be held on Tuesday, October 5, from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex located at 75 Champ Blvd., Manheim, PA 17545.
David Friedman is the Founder and CEO of High Performing Culture, LLC. Through his company and the CultureWise system he helps companies organize to create, drive, and maintain high performing cultures, with a proven system that’s straightforward, practical, and easy to use. Attendees will learn concepts from David’s book Culture By Design that can be immediately applied within their organization.
Evolution this year will feature a CEO Growth Panel where executive leaders will share how they have maintained their culture while scaling their business. Included on the panel are BJ Werzyn (CEO of West Shore Home), Betsy Hamm (CEO of Duck Donuts), Bob Whalen (CEO of HB Global) and Cecelia McCormick (President of Elizabethtown College). The panel will be facilitated by Alicia Richards of ABC27 News.
The afternoon keynote speaker is Dr. Ivan Joseph. He coaches individuals and teams to maximize their potential. His TEDx Talk has over 21 million views and Forbes named it one of the Best TED Talks about the Meaning of Life. Ivan is the author of the best-selling book: You Got This: Mastering the Skills of Self-Confidence.
Included again year is the 10 New Leaders Project, which will give 10 high-potential, emerging, or advancing leaders an opportunity to receive more than $10,000 in leadership development programming, as well as a ticket to the event.
A new element that will be included to give back to the community is a partnership with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. This past year, the food bank has played a critical role in providing much needed food to families in need. Through the Dame Family Foundation, John and Ed will be donating $5,000 to the food bank and challenging attendees to match that amount the day of the event through online giving.
